Takbir Fatima is the Director of DesignAware. She has lived, worked, studied and taught in Al-Khobar, dubai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Chennai and London. Takbir has a BArch from CSIIT School of Architecture & Planning, Secunderabad, and an MArch in Architecture + Urbanism from the Design Research Lab at the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London. She is a licensed architect registered with the Council of Architecture, New Delhi.
Takbir is passionate about design research, digital prototyping and computation. She aims to work on socially relevant projects. takbir is associated with various schools of design and architecture, including CEPT university, the boston architectural college, DigitalFUTURES (Tongji University), and turenscape academy to name a few. she is a global teaching artist with Meta open arts (formerly Facebook Analog Research Lab).
Takbir was named Emerging Architect of the Year 2016 by Grohe NDTV Design & Architecture Awards and Telangana Young Architect 2016 by the Indian Institute of Architects.
Abeer Fatima is the Lead Interior Designer at DesignAware. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from the Raffles College of Design & Commerce. She has lived, worked and studied in Al-Khobar, Hyderabad and Bangalore. Abeer’s main area of interest is accessible design and wearable design.

Asna Moazzam Khan has studied BArch at SV College of Architecture in Cyberabad, and worked in Hyderabad, Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Asna is a member of the Emirates Green Building Council and PBRS certified by the Urban Planning Council of Abu Dhabi. She has successfully led a design project towards an Estidama Green Building rating for a Government entity in Abu Dhabi, and has previously worked in major corporate architecture firms. Her main expertise is in Sustainability and Energy and Environmental Design.
Asna is also the Founder of ard, a sustainable design initiative that incorporates technology with vernacular methods through design research.

Hyma Vennapusa has a BArch from CSIIT School of Architecture & Planning, Secunderabad, and an MArch from the University of Texas at Arlington. She has also gained a Certificate Degree in Construction Management from Tarrant County College. Hyma has professional experience working on a wide range of projects such as big-box retail, medical offices and hospitals all over the US, mainly focused in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Illinois. Her areas of expertise include Project Management, permit process with Municipal Authorities, Building Code Research, Consultant Coordination and Client Management.

RIDDHI PARAKH has a BArch from BN College of Architecture, Pune, and an MArch in Architecture + Urbanism from the Design Research Lab at the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London, where her thesis aimed at challenging conventional architectural systems through the use of vacuum as an actuator and hacking into digitally-controlled machines for fabrication and deployment. Riddhi has almost ten years of experience working on international projects as an Associate at Gensler, London. She has worked on a wide spectrum of projects ranging from hospitality to mixed-use and commercial offices, to master plans of various scales across the globe. She also headed the Digital Design Lab at Gensler. Riddhi’s core areas of expertise are parametric design, digital fabrication and AR/VR.
DesignAware has a diverse and evolving team of architects and interns who hail from varying backgrounds, such as accessory design, graphic design, interior design and architecture, and who have come from different locations, including Hyderabad, bangalore, Kolkata, New Delhi, moradabad, patiala, Mumbai, Visakhapatnam, Warangal and Kochi.
