A social media and online campaign to raise awareness about the lack of reading in inner-city schools of Hyderabad, and to collect used and new children’s books, stationery, art supplies and educational toys to build a library for Bright Horizon Academy, a charity school in Golconda, run by the Mohammadia Educational Trust.
The school is a non-profit co-ed CBSE school that provides free education, free meals, free uniforms and textbooks at a subsidized cost to students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Since 2015, over 250 books and an assortment of toys and stationery, as well as significant monetary donations were received as a result of this campaign.
