TYPOLOGY: PUBLIC PARK AND URBAN SPACE

Universal design and accessibility are often-overlooked issues of great impact in the design of public spaces. The design of this park is aimed at serving those who are differently-abled through accessible and customized spaces, play areas, gathering areas and a community hall. At the same time, those who are considered “normal” are not excluded. Only when we accept that there is no such thing as normal or regular will we be able to truly celebrate diversity in an intersectional manner. This is a park for all, there is no normal.
