Checking staircase reinforcement at #RibbonHouse. As the plot is very narrow, every centimeter counts, and it becomes all the more important to follow measurements accurately. The staircase was designed as a folded one to create space underneath for a laundry room.

DesignAware studio live

This year, we had the opportunity to dive deeper into our ongoing design research on #InterlockingAssemblies through the @fd_cept Directed Research Project with BDes students @kirti__jangra, @rutikavora and @dhaneshree_ahir_ who joined us as research assistants under @takbirfatima.
Our proposal #IntegratedDiversity for a 100% affordable Tower 5 of the @wtc #NewYorkCity is exhibited alongside 40+ other fascinating designs at @citygroupnyc. Drop by if you’re in NYC! All of the proposals have been published in the latest issue of @nyreviewofarchitecture.
Two of our projects were exhibited at the @iia_national NatCon21 as part of the Young Architects’ Exhibition organized by the students of @jnafau_official. Work by students of @vellore_vit from the @fractalsworkshop was also on display. We had the opportunity to listen to prominent architects and educators, including the keynote lecture by @bacprezdaas of @thebacboston entitled “The Architecture of the Construction Robotics Revolution.” It was a pleasure to run into architects from Hyderabad and all over India!

Ours was one of over 40 proposals for a 100% affordable 5WTC, exhibited at @citygroupnyc on 22 April and published in the latest issue of the @nyreviewofarchitecture!

We are honored and deeply humbled to have our project #HilltopSchool shortlisted for the @dubai_award for Best Practices supported by @unhabitat in the “Construction of Sustainable, Innovative and Smart Buildings” category. It is truly a great achievement for us to have had our work presented in front of the Grand Jury alongside many brilliant, innovative, world-changing initiatives!
