WHAT: India Art, Architecture & Design Biennale 2023

DesignAware Director Takbir Fatima was invited by the Council of Architecture to exhibit our work at Samatva: Shaping the Built, as part of the very first India Art, Architecture & Design Biennale 2023 by the Ministry of Culture, curated by Swati Janu of Social Design Collective, alongside 80 women architects from all over India.
The exhibit includes Hilltop School, design process and BuildAware construction videos of Ribbon House, prototypes of the ribbonesque facade, as well as aggregation models from the latest iteration of the Fractals Workshop.
The exhibition was inaugurated on 8 December 2023 by the Prime Minister of India, and will remain open until 31 March 2024.
