Raj Bhavan is the official residence and office of the Governor of Telangana, located at Somajiguda. The original estates were acquired from Nawab Shahzore Jung and Sayyad Akil Bilgrami by the Nizam’s Government, to serve as the official residence of the Prime Minister of Hyderabad. DesignAware was consulted for the redesign of the landscaping of the complex during the first lockdown in 2020, in time for the Telangana Formation Day celebrations on 2 June, 2020.
