juxta counter design
A 36″ high work counter with deep storage shelves, designed by juxtapositioning of rectangles at different levels. Each shelf is viewed as a level, such as the floor of a building. The space in between is negotiated by vertical members of varying sizes. The counter appears different from every angle, and its interlocking pieces can be interchanged to produce differently customized results.
